Here are some details:

Allied Electric Sign & Awning warrants our products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years for most exterior signs and interior signs. The warranty period begins at the date of purchase. Damage caused by vandalism, theft, accidents, acts of God (floods, earthquakes, wind, hail, tornados, etc.), acts of terrorism, improper installation, abuse or misuse are not covered under this warranty. Allied Electric Sign & Awning shall not be held liable for the repair or replacement of signs or materials resulting from these situations.

Allied Manufactured Interior and Exterior Signs (Illuminated and non-illuminated Channel Letters, Wall Signs, Monument Signs, Pylon Signs)

Warranty is for five (5) years against

1. Paint peeling from backgrounds, edges, lettering, framing, supports and all visible surfaces.
2. Breaking welds on metal framing, structures and supports when properly installed.
3. Painted Graphics from fading, peeling, cracking.
4. Back spray and 2nd surface graphics from fading, peeling, cracking.
5. Substrate delaminating, cracking or rotting.
6. Letters or graphics detaching from surfaces.
7. Failure of LED lighting

Warranty is for three (3) years against

1. Direct Print to face 1st surface graphics fading, peeling, and cracking.
2. Vinyl 1st surface and overlays peeling, curling, shrinking or cracking.
3. Neon Glass and Transformers. (Glass breakage is not covered under warranty)
4. Failure of LED Power Supplies

Excluded from warranty

1. Fluorescent lamps, ballasts and other forms of lighting or lighting components not specifically included in the (3) or (5) year warranty above.
2. Neon Glass Breakage
3. Service of existing signage not manufactured by Allied Electric Sign & Awning.
4. Electronic Message Centers and Pricing Signs.

Electronic Message Centers, Digital Displays and Pricing Signs
Electronic Message Centers, Digital Displays and Pricing Signs are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only. We advise that when purchasing new Electronic Message Center, Digital Display and/or Price Sign that you check with the manufacturer on details of the warranty that they hold. Parts for service on Electronic Message Centers, Digital Displays and Pricing signs hold only the manufacturer’s warranty for the part being replaced. Labor for repairs and warranty work will be charged at standard service rates by Allied Electric Sign & Awning unless otherwise noted on your original sales agreement.

Temporary Signs and Banners
Cloth, vinyl and flexible banners are warranted for thirty (30) days against defects in materials and workmanship. Temporary job site signs, political posters, for sale signs or any lightweight advertisement materials such as chloroplast, foam core and styrene are considered temporary and are covered for peeling paint or vinyl detaching for a period of thirty (30) days. Paper and cardboard signs are not warranted.

Vehicle Lettering
Boats, trailers, trucks, cars, motorcycles, ATVs, and snow machines are warranted for one (1) year. Allied Electric Sign & Awning shall not be liable for damages caused by the use of windshield wipers, ice scrapers, steam-cleaners, pressure washers, harsh cleaners, chemical treatments and automatic car washes. Use of these types of cleaning procedures will void the warranty. Adhesion tests will be performed on any remaining lettering to confirm if the damage was caused improper care.

Please be advised that warranty will become null and void if payment is not made in full at the time of installation or according to the terms of the agreement. All service repair work done to signs under warrantied must be reported immediately and completed by Allied Electric Sign & Awning. Using another service provider or self-servicing the signage will void all warranties for product and labor. Removal or relocation of signage done by others will void the warranty.

Allied Manufactured Awnings (Illuminated and non-illuminated)

Warranty is for five (5) years against:

1. Structural Supports warranted from breaking welds on metal framing, structures and supports for standard awnings: (including lateral arms, square bar, front bar and all other attached supports provided that the components are not subject to excessive winds or water pooling on fabric).
2. Standard Awnings with no copy, no valance or with hard valance.
3. Standard Awnings with Eradicated fabric with or without copy (no vinyl overlay).
4. Standard Awnings with painted copy on hard valance (Painted Graphics warranted from fading, peeling, cracking).
5. Standard Awnings with painted copy on the awning slope (Painted Graphics warranted from fading, peeling, cracking).
6. Standard Awnings with standing seam panels.
7. Metal suspended awnings.
8. Failure of LED lighting and Power supplies

Warranty is for two (2) years against:

1. Standard Awnings with Eradicated fabric with copy and vinyl overlay (Vinyl 1st surface warranted against peeling, curling, shrinking or cracking).
2. Standard Awnings with painted copy on soft valance (Painted Graphics warranted from fading, peeling, cracking).
3. Standard Awning with vinyl/heat transfer copy on any valance (Vinyl 1st surface and heat transfer warranted against peeling, curling, shrinking or cracking).
4. Standard Awning with vinyl/heat transfer copy on any awning slope (Vinyl 1st surface and heat transfer warranted against peeling, curling, shrinking or cracking).
5. Cable panel Canopies
6. Drop Curtains
7. Residential drop arm awnings

Warranty for awnings installed south of Cedar City, Utah is (3) years max.
Exception: awnings with standing seam panels, metal suspended awnings.

Excluded from warranty

1. Awnings that are manufactured with fabric that has a manufactures warranty of less than 5 years will only be warranted as long as the fabric warranty applies.
2. All other types of awning or canopies not listed above (warranty to be determined at the time of sale).
3. Failure of Fluorescent lamps, ballasts and other forms of lighting or lighting components not specifically included in the (2) or (5) year warranty above.

Please be advised that warranty will become null and void if payment is not made in full at the time of installation or according to the terms of the agreement. All service repair work done to awnings under warranty must be reported immediately and completed by Allied Electric Sign & Awning. Using another service provider or self-servicing the awning will void all warranties for product and labor. Removal or relocation of signage done by others will void the warranty.

Eradication- the process of using eradicating fluid to remove ink from the back lit fabric to create brilliant white graphics on a solid color background
